For the first time Stora Enso Polska was among the sponsors of the GrandFront 2005 best press covers contest, annually organized by the Polish Chamber of Press Publishers. 546 magazine and newspaper covers (40% more than last year) were submitted for the 4th edition of the contest.

This year’s edition of GrandFront contest was celebrated in the Warsaw Royal Castle on May 26. Stora Enso Polska sponsored the award in the Opinion magazine category. It was won by the “Duzy Format” magazine No. 637, a supplement of “Gazeta Wyborcza” daily. The same cover also won the main GrandFront 2005 award in the magazines group.
Piotr Kuzebski, Managing Director of Stora Enso Polska, and Wieslaw Podkanski, President of the Polish Chamber of Press Publishers, presented the medal to the Opinion magazine category winner. Additionally, distinguished magazine covers were awarded diplomas.

Stora Enso Polska prepared a special stand for the GrandFront celebrations, where the information regarding the company and its products (mainly publication and newsprint papers) was available.

We wish to congratulate all winners and invite Polish press publishers to participate in the next year’s edition of GrandFront.

The GrandFront contest has been organized by the Polish Chamber of Press Publishers for the 4^th time. Popularity and prestige of the contest are growing every year in the Polish printing and publishing industry. The applying covers compete for the main GrandFront awards in two groups: magazines and newspapers, as well as for several category awards within both groups (e.g. “Opinion magazines”, “People magazines” etc.).
